About Certified Conformity Ltd.

Following an approach from a number of organisations throughout the United Kingdom, an opportunity arose to assist the market in relation to the European Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Directive.

Certified Conformity was established in 2016 to provide an Accreditation Service for the Certification of PPE product.

Certified Conformity Ltd. head office, is located in the North West of England, with representatives located overseas in the United States and Canada. Our core business is to provide an independent third party certification service to manufacturers and distributors of PPE and other related products.

Certified Conformity Ltd. are UKAS accredited organisation for Product Conformity Certification in accordance with the recognised international standard ISO/IEC 17065:2012 We are also a Notified Body under the PPE Directive and can therefore process applications for CE Marking. We cover all types of PPE – from head to toe; specialising in fall arrest equipment

To ensure the highest level of integrity, impartiality and competence, together with client confidence, our services have been accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) – the UK government’s official independent third party accreditation authority.

This ensures our service is independently monitored by regular assessment against ISO 17065, the international standards for conformity assessment of certification bodies.

Laboratories used for testing in support of applications for certification are independent to us and are all accredited to 17025 by UKAS. We regularly monitor and manage conflicts of interest and review Laboratory activities to ensure that all certification activities are carried out objectively.
